Located near the Kalapathar Road, Neighbouring the Wild Gecko Resort, the Fat Martin Cafe is one of the most famous places to eat in Havelock Island. As soon as you enter the area you are greeted by a rather rustic restaurant, surrounded with lush green shrubs and jungle which adds to the vibe of it. The interior ambiance is great and well complimented by the mat and wood interiors.

Fat Martin is more about food than service and opens up for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Brunch. The restaurant offers Indian and Asian cuisines along with everything else that you can expect from a cafe. Some of the most notable dishes that Fat Martin is famous for are the Chicken Curry with Rice gardened with seasoned pepper that fills you up in no time. Travelers also swear by the Pizza here, which is considered one of the best in Havelock Island.

The restaurant also offers separate meals for vegetarians and vegans, prepared with separate setup.

You can also expect a wide variety of desserts after a heavy meal. One of the most famous being the “Hello to the Queen” dessert, considered as chefs special. We enjoyed it a lot and you will too.
